    Rao, Sailaja move high court against cheating FIR

    Vijayawada: Margadarsi Chit Fund Private Limited (MCFPL) chairman Ch Ramoji Rao and MD Sailaja Kiran on Tuesday moved the high court challenging the FIR registered by the Crime Investigation Department (CID) over allegations of forgery and illegal transfer of shares one G Yuri Reddi. The high court posted the matter for hearing on Wednesday as the CID sought time to submit details.
    Arguing on behalf of the petitioners, senior counsels Siddharth Luthra and Posani Venkateswarlu told the high court that the case has been registered at the instance of the present ruling dispensation which has unleashed a series of attacks with false cases against the petitioners.The present case is also borne out of vindictiveness of the state government, they said.
