    Rico Chiapparelli is an American former wrestler and mixed martial arts trainer. Being from Baltimore, Maryland, Chiapparelli became known as the "Baltimore Butcher." He was a Junior National Champion as a senior in high school, and then was a standout wrestler for the University of Iowa.[1] While at Iowa, he was an NCAA National Champion in at &#;lbs.[2] After college, he competed in freestyle wrestling in the men's senior level, and went on to become the USAW National Champion in at &#;lbs.[3]

    In the past, Danzig was known for his association with R1 fight team (formerly RAW) and had been a student of Iowa wrestling standout Rico Chiapparelli and MMA fighter Frank Trigg. He has since trained boxing extensively under Justin Fortune of the Wild Card Gym in Hollywood, California, and more recently under Gil Martinez in Las Vegas, Nevada.
