Brian Boitano
Brian Anthony Boitano (ur. 22 października1963 w Mountain View) – amerykańskiłyżwiarz figurowy, startujący w konkurencji solistów. Mistrz olimpijski z Calgary (1988)[1] i uczestnik igrzysk olimpijskich (1984[2], 1994[3]), dwukrotny mistrz świata (1986, 1988) oraz czterokrotny mistrz Stanów Zjednoczonych (1985–1988).
Brian Boitano zainspirował postać idola bohaterów serialu telewizyjnego Miasteczko South Park.
W grudniu 2013 roku zadeklarował, że jest osobą homoseksualną[4].

Who Is Brian Boitano?
Born in 1963 in Mountain View, California, figure skater Brian Boitano won four consecutive U.S. titles and a gold medal at the 1988 Winter Olympics. He won more titles after turning professional while also touring with ice shows.
Known for a Food Network show, Boitano revealed that he was gay after earning selection to the U.S. delegation for the 2014 Winter Olympics.
Early Years
Brian Anthony Boitano was born on October 22, 1963, in Mountain View, California, to parents Donna and Lew. He played Little League baseball and roller-skated as a child but became enamored with ice skating when he was eight years old after watching a performance of Ice Follies.
Boitano started taking group lessons with a local coach named Linda Leaver, beginning a lifelong relationship between mentor and pupil.
