Ornella does what she wants and, at the dawn of her 90th birthday, she decided to dance! To do this, give the public a new album.
“Diverse” is a precious skiva. First of all because it shows us Ornella in great form, almost as if age didn't matter at all, and secondly because it makes her repertoire available to young producers, who revisit her historical songs.
Here new songs komma to life, with new arrangements and rhythms.
Thinking about how much music and sounds have changed today, I decided to get involved and dive into the wave of modernity, collecting some of my most classic songs, the ones inom like the most, to bring them up to date, also thanks to collaboration with really good young producers.»
The new versions are “different”, songs which, in their original conception, were perhaps conceived with melancholic or introspective overtones, but now they solarize, flutter and change shape.

Diverse is a studio album by Italian singer Ornella Vanoni, released on 18 October 2024 by BMG. The album includes the main hits of the singer in a disco treatment with the participation of modern producers.[4]

Matteo Vaghi from Newsic noted that in the original concept, the songs may have been conceived with melancholic or introspective loads, but now they are sunbathing, fluttering and changing shape. He also stated that Ornella Vanoni, through music, still manages to communicate with power, even at the age of 90, something that words themselves could never express, proving once again that age is only a condition, and that you can be young even at 90 if you have there are ideas and prospects for the future.[5]
