Springfield area high school football Missouri state quarterfinal takeaways
The Springfield area will be well represented in next week's semifinal round of the Missouri high school football playoffs and there's a chance two face off against each other in a state championship game.
Nixa, Fair Grove, Lamar and Seneca will each compete for the chance to play in an MSHSAA Show-Me Bowl game the following week in Columbia.

Nixa football rallies for game-winning drive at Lee's Summit North
Sophomore quarterback Adam McKnight led an 89-yard touchdown drive in the final two minutes, completing a 19-yard game-winning pass to Wyatt Vincent with just over 10 seconds left for a 21-20 win over Lee's Summit North.

Missouri high school football playoff scores: Live updates from championship games
COLUMBIA — It's championship week of the Missouri high school football season as Classes 1-6 convene at Faurot Field at Memorial Field in Columbia for the MSHSAA Show-Me Bowl.
Three games on Friday and three on Saturday will crown the best teams in their respective classes. The weekend will start Friday with an 11 a.m. Class 4 championship between Lutheran North and Festus. It will conclude with Saturday's 7 p.m. Class 5 championship between Helias Catholic and Platte County.
