Matt Nguyen and Tessa Lizz might just be the cutest couple in life and in business, as they make up the dj duo ARIUS. Matt and Tessa met many years ago and their relationship has developed into something extraordinary. Matt Nguyen (more commonly known as Dumbo) began performing live with ‘Poreotics’ dance group– champions of the 5th season of America’s Best Dance Crew. Before Tessa got involved in performing, she was a cocktail waitress at Marquee and Daylight in Las Vegas, serving the big time DJ’s. Little did they know that very soon, she would be taking the stage as well. Finger drumming came naturally to Tessa, and her crazy finger skills bring something unique to ARIUS’ image. Matthew Vinh Nguyen (born March 23,[citation needed] ), better known as Dumbo, is a Vietnamese-Americandancer, choreographer and DJ. He is a member of the Asian-American dance crew Poreotics, as well as the DJ duo ARIUS.
Biography
[edit]Matt Nguyen was born Nguyễn Hữu Quốc Vinh on March 25[citation needed] in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. At the age of 10, Nguyen and his family moved to the United States.[1] Nguyen attended Rancho Alamitos High School, and later the Paul Mitchell school.

Poreotics, also known as Poreotix, is an American all-male dance crew from Westminster, California. The crew was formed in by Matthew "Dumbo" Nguyen and specializes in popping, choreography and robotics, hence the name Po-reo-tics. They have performed in numerous hip hop dance competitions, most notably coming in 1st place in the USA division of the and Hip-Hop Internationals[1] and in other dance programs and competitions including the Vibe 15, FUSION X, Body Rock, and World Of Dance. On April 8, , they were crowned the champions on the fifth season of America's Best Dance Crew.[2] On January 14, , they were crowned as Team of the Year at the World of Dance awards.
